Pepper Shot™ Pepper Spray is a 10% concentrate of Oleresin Capsicum and is rated at 2 million scoville heat units and is made with a very fine grain and is more effective than the coarser grains that most other pepper sprays are made from. In addition to causing the attacker pain, the spray attacks the mucous membranes, which makes breathing diffucult and swells the veins in the eyes, causing the eyes to close. this effect lasts 20-30 minutes and causes no permanent damage.
